Day 46 of 100 Days of Hope

Self-Validation Is a Superpower

So much of the time, we skip over what we do well. We rush from one task to the next, brushing off our efforts as “no big deal.” But what if taking a moment to acknowledge yourself—your actions, your progress, your growth—was actually the key to your confidence and joy?

That’s what I learned from my life coach. Instead of waiting for others to notice my efforts, I began to notice me. To truly take in what I was doing well. To praise myself. To give myself intentional self-validation.

Why We Avoid Acknowledging Ourselves

Many of us grew up believing that noticing our own success was prideful. We were taught to stay humble, to downplay our gifts. But humility doesn’t mean denying your goodness. It means being grounded in truth—and the truth is, you are doing things well. You are showing up.

Self-validation isn’t arrogance. It’s awareness. It’s learning to recognize your growth, your heart, and your effort without needing external approval.

What Happens When You Practice Self-Validation

When you validate yourself, something powerful shifts inside you. You no longer rely on others to define your worth. You reclaim your own power to say, “I’m proud of me.”

That simple act:

  • Strengthens confidence and self-trust

  • Builds resilience through challenges

  • Creates inner peace and gratitude

  • Inspires you to keep growing

It feels good because it’s true. You are worthy of your own recognition.

Try This Today

I invite you to take a few minutes and reflect:

  • What am I doing well right now?

  • What am I proud of today?

  • What did I do that took courage or effort?

Then say to yourself, “Good job.”
Take a deep breath and allow that praise to sink in. Let it fill you.

You Deserve to Shine

I’ve seen firsthand how self-validation transforms people—from self-doubt to self-trust, from waiting for permission to living with purpose. It’s one of the most beautiful shifts you can make.

Self-validation is a superpower. Use it today, and watch your confidence bloom.
