The Power of Intention and How Feeling Into What You Want Creates Real Change
When I first read The Power of Intention by Wayne Dyer, something clicked inside me. His words felt like a roadmap back to what matters most. One quote in particular continues to guide me:
“You’ll see it when you believe it.” — Wayne Dyer
It turns the world upside down in the best way. Instead of waiting for evidence before we trust, we're invited to trust so fully that evidence begins to appear. This is the core of intention—not wishful thinking, but clear, grounded focus on what you truly want to create in your life.
Here are three simple steps to begin using intention the way Wayne teaches:
1. Know what you want.
We spend a lot of time replaying what isn’t working—yet rarely pause to name what our heart wants most. Write it down. Say it out loud. Don’t judge it. Desire is clarity.
2. Allow your vision to become a feeling.
This is where intention becomes powerful. Instead of thinking your desire over and over, feel it. Imagine what it will be like when your intention becomes real—fulfillment, peace, connection, joy. That emotional connection is the energy that moves intention forward.
3. Let that feeling guide your actions.
From that feeling state, take one simple step. Send the message. sign up for the class, open the notebook, ask for help, clear the space, go for the walk. Action isn’t forced when it comes from alignment—it becomes the natural next thing.
When you practice intention this way, something beautiful begins to shift. You start to recognize opportunities that match your desire. You respond to life with more openness and less resistance. You stop chasing outcomes and begin creating from within.
Wayne reminds us that intention isn’t about controlling life—it’s about co-creating with it. When you focus on what you truly want, feel it in your body, and take small aligned actions, your life begins to reflect that inner clarity.
If you’re ready to create more love, connection, joy, and abundance, start here:
What do I want—and how will it feel when it becomes real?
And if support would make that journey easier, reach out anytime. I’d love to help you turn intention into transformation—one grounded step at a time.
