Day 22 of 100 Days of Hope
The Power of an Inspiration Playlist
One of my favorite go-to ways to remind myself of who I am and what’s truly important is listening to my inspiration playlist. It may seem like a small thing, but every time I press play, I feel a shift inside me. My heart softens, my mind clears, and I feel connected again to my Savior and Father in Heaven.
Music has a way of cutting through the noise of life and speaking straight to the soul. For me, my playlist is a reminder of what I stand for and why I’m here. It grounds me when life feels overwhelming, and it lifts me when I forget how loved and cared for I really am.
What’s on My Playlist?
My inspiration list is a mix. Some songs are Christian music that remind me of God’s love and His promises. Others are modern songs that carried me through hard seasons—songs that remind me I’m strong, resilient, and capable of moving forward. Each track is like a mile marker on my journey. When I hear it, I’m instantly transported back to the strength I found in that moment.
Why It Matters
We all need reminders:
Who we are
What we stand for
Why we are here
Because the way we show up matters. It matters to us. It matters to our families. It matters to our communities. And it matters to the world at large.
Something as simple as listening to an intentional playlist can shape how we feel, how we think, and how we live. It can give us the courage to keep going, the hope to believe again, and the strength to shine in the moments that matter most.
Try It for Yourself
If you don’t already have an inspiration playlist, I encourage you to create one. Fill it with songs that remind you of who you really are, songs that lift you up when life feels heavy, and songs that bring you back to hope.
And if you already have one—pull it out and press play. Let yourself be reminded of the light inside you.
Music has the power to heal, to inspire, and to guide us back to ourselves.
So tell me—what songs inspire you to be your best self? I’d love to hear your favorites.
